Show Students s tudy success presentation by SUSC student Grey Farrell regarding his attendance at the Indain Youth Conference in Washington, D.C. Saturday's workshop topics included "Youth Leadership Opportunities," "Nationa Budget Cuts. ..How They Affect Us," "Let's get Involved," "Grants, Scholarships, Applications," and "Academic Social Skills Assessment." A particularly stimulating workshhop, "Fear of Failure? Career Expectations" included panelists who discussed their personal career choices, the steps they took and the obstacles they overcame, to achieve their goals. A banquet Saturday evening was highlighted with an address by SUSC Acting President Harl Judd. Upward Bound is pat of the TRIO Programs funded by the U.S. Department o l Education. CEDAR CITY - SC SE U -F-SUCCESS (Self-Control Squared plus Self-Esteem plus Understanding minus Fear of Failure equals SUCCESS) was the theme for a recent On -Campus Visit for the Southern Utah State College Upward Bound students..
