Show Petty accepts position CEDAR CITY - Dr. Neil C. Petty, director of Preservice Training and Associate Director of the Cedar City LDS Institute has accepted an administrative position at Brigham Young v University effective Dec. 21, Petty will serve in the Division of Continuing Education as College Coordinator servicing the College of Physical Education. He will be accountable for meeting the continuing education needs of youth, adults, and college graduates through conferences, workshops, lecture series and off-campus special sources along with providing statewide, regional, . national and international exposure for the University's outstanding colleges, departments, and faculty. "I am looking forward to the opportunity of service in the Church Educational System with this new assignment but my family and I will certainly miss Cedar City, our family, and the many friendships and associations we have established for the last four years," Petty stated. Petty is married to the former Lynda Eaton and they are the parents of seven children. Petty has been associated with the LDS Church Educational System for 15 years as seminary teacher and principal, institute instructor and director, and as Area Director of Seminaries and Institutes in South Carolina |
