Show SANTA CLARA Miss Amanda Graff Reporter Mrs. Sylvan Graff was hostess to the Dutchettes last Thursday afternoon. Pinochle was the diversion, di-version, honors going to Mrs. Elva Hafen, Mrs. Olive Moss and Mrs. Hilda Stucki. Guests were Mrs. Bruce Barton and Mrs. V. P. Ence of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reber and family of Las Vegas visited relatives rela-tives in Santa Clara over the week end. L. J. Graff and Richard Ence left Monday for California on business. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Knight have returned from Good Springs, Nev., where they have visited Mr. and Mrs. John Freelove and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Leavitt and ' Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Gates were visiting in Cedar City over Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Stucki and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Higbee. The outgoing Relief Society presidency of Santa Clara ward will be honored next Tuesday afternoon with a party. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reber of Littlefield visited in Santa Clara over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. John M.1 Stucki, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Leavitt, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Graff and Mrs. Blaine Cutler attended the missionary party in Leeds last Friday evening. The Santa Clara Swiss camp of the D. U. P. held their November meeting last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Archie Gubler. Mrs. Laura Buggert left Monday Mon-day for her home in Provo after visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Ence and small son for several days. |
