Show Varied Programs Presented At Ixcal M.I. A. Meetings Tuesday Evening Local M. I. A. programs for special spe-cial interest groups were varied Tuesday evening, and special programs pro-grams are being planned for Tuesday, Tues-day, Nov. 21st. In the West ward, "The Bridge of San Luis Roy", by Thornton Wilder was the special feature. This is the story of the bridges built by the Inea Indians, and the people who were on the bridge when it fell. They will devote Tuesday evening, eve-ning, Nov. 21, to a Thanksgiving social for the entire organization.' The hour in the Center ward was interestingly spent at the L. D. S. Institute bidding, with Miss Linna Snow giving the history his-tory of poetry, its place in literature, liter-ature, and many poetic exorpts, .suggestive of the various types of this constructive art. On Tuesday, Nov. 21, II. L. Reirl will give a talk on current events, and on Nov. 2H, Mix. George I'aee will review the opera "Oklahoma", along with recordings record-ings of the principle music scores. |
