Show BUNKERVILLE, Nev. Mrs. Mary II. Leavitt Reporter Kay Bunker, who has been suffering suf-fering with bone infection in his leg over a long period, underwent surgery at the L. D. S. hospital Nov. 8th. It was found necessary to remove the smaller bone of his leg from the ankle to the knee. He will remain in the hospital for several weeks. Mrs. Chloe Abbott is in Los Angeles visiting two of her daughters, daugh-ters, who reside there. Pvt. Jack Leavitt and wife of Las Vegas visited here over the week end. He is home on furlough fur-lough from somewhere in Arkansas. Ark-ansas. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Leavitt. Mrs. Mary Adams and daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Ethel Leavitt, Mrs. Kenneth Earl and Mrs. Irma Leavitt, visitel in St. George last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Huntsman. Speakers at church last Sunday were Mrs. Kenneth Earl, Mrs. Naomi Hardy and Jesse Whipple. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hardy and Mrs. Kenneth Earl have returned re-turned to their homes in Meridian, Ida., after spending two weeks here visiting relatives. The Bee Hive girls put over a one-act play in M. I. A. Tuesday evening. |
