Show Funeral Services Held Sunday, Nov. 12 For Conrad Moroni Kleinman TO QUERVT LLE , Utah. Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 12th' at 2 p.m., in the Toquerville Toquer-ville ward chapel for Conrad Moroni Kleinman, 81, who died at his home early Friday morning, after six weeks' illness. Bishop Leo Bringhurst conducted con-ducted the services. The music numbers included a vocal quartet by the Misses Wilma and Dixie Kleinman, Harvey Jackson and Harvey Theobald; vocal duets, the Misses Wilma and Dixie Kleinman, Klein-man, and by Bill and Owen Sanders San-ders of LaVerkin; violin solo, Mrs. Worthen Gregerson, Mrs. Samuel Bringhurst, accompanying these numbers; and vocal solo, Ivan Barrett of Hurricane, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Garth Sand-berg. Sand-berg. Pay Tribute to Mr. Kleinman Tribute was paid to Mr. Kleinman Klein-man for his long and useful life, and his contributions to community com-munity and church, by Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Lamb, Walter H. Slack, of Toquerville; and Claud Hirschi of Hurricane. Closing remarks were bv Bishop Bringhurst. "pravers were by R. J. Naegle and H A. Conrad Moroni Kleinman was born Dec 8, 1862, at Lehi, Utah, a son of Conrad and Mary Gor-mer Gor-mer Kleinman, pioneers of 184 from Switzerland. They settled first in Salt Lake City, and later moved to Lehi. where this son Continued on page five) Kleinman Death (Continued from first page) was born. In the late fifties they were called to help settle southern Utah, and made their home in Toquerville, where Conrad junior had what schooling was available in those days. On Feb. 14, 18SS, he married Lula Bringhurst, and they moved to Mesa, Ariz. After two years they returned to Toquerville, where they have since resided, and he has been well known as a successful farmer and livestock man. Surviving are his widow and the following children: Howard C. Kleinman, Hurrcane; George, Dan and Archie L. Kleinman, Toquerville; Toquer-ville; Lawrence Kleinman, Ely, Nev.; Mrs. Myrtle K. Parke of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Laura Simpson of Marion, Utah; Mrs. Ina S. Day of Midvale; 25 grandchildren; grand-children; one brother, John M. Kleinman of American Fork; a half sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Lewis of Salt Lake City; and three half brother, David, Dan and Orson Kleinman of Mesa, Ariz. |
