Show County's War Bond Quota Set At $214,000 Reports Albert E. Miller Albert E. Miller represented Washington Wash-ington County in the State War Loan -Conference held in Salt Lake City and returned with the information in-formation that the quota for Washington county in the Sixth War Bond Drive is $214,000. This is a slight reduction from the Fifth War Bond Drive which was $255,000. The Sixth War Loan Drive begins' November 20 and ends December 16. The representatives of the State Committee will meet with the Washington County representatives representa-tives Thursday, Nov. 16, at 2 o'clock at the Dixie College Auditorium. Audi-torium. All volunteers are invited to be present at this meeting. The 'Chairmen of the respective communities com-munities are, particularly, invited for this meeting. There has been a plan already approved in state headquarters to provide for a caravan of people bringing films and war materials for display to promote the sale of bonds in this part of the state. This special caravan will meet in Hurricane November -23, at 5:30 and in St. George November 23, at 7:30. Street meetings will be held in Hurricane and St. George and a general meeting will be held at St. George. |
