Show Mr. and Mrs. Bud Lamoreaux and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. K. John Roundy and two children were here from Las Vegas Saturday Sat-urday over Tuesday, as Christmas guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. J. Milne. jt- j'. W 'if K John H. Zohner was home last week from Caliente due to the illness ill-ness of his son, David. He remained re-mained over Christmas with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pearce spent Christmas day in Cedar City with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Anderson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. J. Milne left this (Thursday) morning for California Cali-fornia to take their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Earl Milne and baby, who will be with Cadet Milne, who is located at a military training train-ing station of the Army air corps. Milne Truck Line- employees held conference in St. George last Monday. Here to attend the conference con-ference were Orval Milne and Kenneth Mile of Salt Lake City; and Frank Milne of Cedar City. Mrs. Orval Milne and children and Mrs. Frank Milne and children child-ren accompanied their husbands to St. George to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Simrns and son of Los Angeles visited over the Christmas week with Mrs. Simm's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gentry. & The Three-W club held their Christmas week social at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Cottam with their husbands as guests. Dinner was followed by Rook. White elephant gifts were exchanged from the Christmas tree, causing much merriment. Mrs. Dean Boyack and small son were here from Fillmore over Christmas week, guests of Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Reichmann. A group of married couples enjoyed en-joyed a dancing party Tuesday evening at the South ward chapel recreation hall. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Barton entertained en-tertained at a dinner party Tuesday Tues-day honoring the eleven boys who left Dec. 30th for military training, train-ing, their son, Bruce Barton, being be-ing Corporal in charge of the group. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Nelson spent Wednesday in Cedar City visiting. Their brother, Myles Nelson returned re-turned with them to visit over night. |
