Show Greetings from Servicemen Reach Many St. George Homes Over Xmas Holidays Christmas greetings from men in the service to the folks at home were distributed in quantity and in variety over the week end. Cards, letters, telegrams, .cablegrams .cable-grams and other messages reached almost every home from which sons or husbands are absent, and especially from those overseas. A carload of boxes of flowers came from the Boulder City florist shop Christmas day, having been ordered ord-ered by men overseas. To deliver these many messages mes-sages meant that telephone operators op-erators and others were kept extra busy over the week end, and people receiving these messages mes-sages were appreciative of the cheerful service given rjy mese employees. em-ployees. Marion Jolley drove up from Boulder City Christmas day to deliver the load of flowers and postal employees gave extra time to deliver special greetings coming by mail. As a result, cheer came to many homes that might otherwise been left wondering. |
