Show YEYO Mrs. V. Jones Reporter The Veyo ward Relief Society sponsored a very impressive pageant, pag-eant, "What America Means", last Sunday evening. Under the direction direc-tion of Caroline B. Cottam, social science class leader. Special recognition rec-ognition was given our boys in military service. Refreshments were served at the close of the program. y The Primary association had a program here on Christmas Eve. After a visit from Santa, who presented pre-sented each child with a gift and candy, dancing was enjoyed for an hour. Our school, under the direction of our teachers, Grant Hafen and Agnes Hunt, presented an interesting inter-esting Christmas program last Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. John Horsley, who are spending the winter in St. George, have been here the past several days visiting relatives. rela-tives. V. Out-of-town visitors here on Christmas were Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Smith and family of Summit; Sum-mit; 'Mrs. Katherine Bunker, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Lytle and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bunker, all of - St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Price of Panaca; and Arlene Slade of Central. Mr. and Mrs. James F. Cottam spent Christmas day in St. George with their children. Kenneth A. Leavitt left Monday Mon-day for San Diego military training train-ing station. |
