Show Special Initiation Ceremonies To Be Held By American Legfen Monday Mathew M. Bentley Will Discuss Servicemen's Problems After War's End Cordial invitation is extended to the people of St. George and Washington county to attend the meeting of the American Legion Lester Keate Post No. 90 Monday evening, Jan. 3rd, and witness the impressive initiation ceremonies ceremon-ies of that organization. The meeting will be held in the St. George Recreation hall at 8 p. m. Speaker of the evening will be Mathew M. Bcr.tley, Post service officer, who will give special consideration con-sideration to the serviceman's return re-turn to community life and the problems that confront servicemen service-men and their families. There will also be special music furnished furn-ished by the Dixie college band under the direction of Prof. Earl J. Bleak. Highlight of the evening's prom-am will hf thp initiation cere- fa" monies, in which several new members will come into the Post. These ceremonies, expressive of the high ideals of brotherhood and human service of the organization, organ-ization, should find response in the hearts of every citizen, states Commander Williams, who will conduct the program. |
