Show ChildClinic Held In South Ward Chapel A clinic for children from one month to three years was held in the South Ward chapel on the afternoons of September 15 and 16. During this time ninety-seven children were examined, of which forty-four were infants and fifty-two fifty-two pre-school age. The following is from the report made of these examinations : Diseased tonsils, thirty-five; dental cavities, six; ricketts, two; heart, two; nutritional five; and running ears, one. Dr. Wilford J. Reichmann was the examining physician. He was assisted by Miss LaRue Ford, district dis-trict supervisor of nurses; Miss Joy B. Stuart, state child and maternal health supervisor and Miss Uarda Knight, Washington County nurse. The following members of the Relief Society assisted with the work. Stake Board members, Mrs. Woodard and Mrs. Zora Jarvis; West ward, Mrs. Lulu Assay; East ward, Mrs. Milo Kemp and South ward, Mrs. Seth Harper. The Stake Relief society feels well paid for the effort and expense ex-pense necessary to present such a clinic and the parents of children examined also express their appreciation. |
