Show B.P.W. Clubs To Hold District Conference Here Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's clubs of the Dixie District will hold their annual district conference in St. George, Saturday, Satur-day, Sept. 25. Two meetings will he held during the day. The first one, at 3 p.m. in the Gaiety Theatre is principally for club officers of-ficers and committee chairmen, and is being held for the purpose of discussing club problems with State officers, Miss Clara Wood-house, Wood-house, district chairman, announced an-nounced today. The Banquet is scheduled for 8 p. m. in the Arrowhead ' Hotel dining room and will be attended by all club members. Mrs. Almeda Perry Brown, state president, will give the highlights of the National Nation-al convention held recently in Atlantic City. Miss Alice Manning will be the guest speaker and win talk on the theme "Our Towns Business." Special musical num-mers num-mers will be presented by the Cedar City club. "It is expected," said Miss Woodhouse, "that prospective club members from Beaver will be in attendance as well as members mem-bers of the Cedar City and Pioche clubs. As hosts of the conference the St. George members will be there one hundred percent. |
