Show Fine Progress Reported On Institute Building By Dr. Roy West Fine progress on the new building build-ing which is to house the Institute of Religion and the Seminary, is reported by Dr. Roy West, who is in charge of the Institute work here. It is anticipated by Dr. West that the building will be completed and ready for use by Christmas. "Calvin Dalton, the contractor in charge of its construction, is exerting every effort to construct an unique building which will be another monument to this community," com-munity," said Dr. West. "The finance fin-ance committee headed by Mayor Albert E. Miller, Wallace Mathis and William Brooks, are working earnestly to collect contributions to make possible this attractive institution of learning," he said. The new building, when completely com-pletely finished, will cost approximately approxi-mately $17,000. Provision will be made for two class rooms, one reception room containing a fire place and two offices. The L.D.S. Department of education will furnish fur-nish the reception room, one class room and one office, which will be used by the Institute of Religion. Reli-gion. The Church will pay sixty per cent of the furnishings used by the Seminary, states Dr. West. |
