Show TEST SHOWS CATTLE HEALTH EXCELLENT Recent tests made " in Washington Wash-ington county for tuberculosis among dairy and range cattle resulted in finding only 11 reactors re-actors in the 2155 of the former for-mer group tested. This is one-half one-half of one per cent, the lowest average ever shown in this coun-' coun-' ty. Because of the healthy con-'"--' dition of the cattle, Dr. F. E. Murray of the federal office has informed the county that it has been put on the accredited list for shipping out dairy and beef cattle. Two years ago a total of 1991 animals were tested and from that number 10 reactors were found. The range cattle were tested according to government specifications, speci-fications, which is ten per cent of the cows and all range bulls. Of the 4S1 head tested, no reactors re-actors were found. |
