Show HURTS FATAL TO OVERTON WOMAN Automobile Collided With Locomotive Lo-comotive at Crossing at Glendale. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Lytle and son, George, returned Sunday Sun-day evening from Overton where they had been called to attend the funeral of Mr. Lytle's brother's broth-er's wife, Mrs. John M. Lytle who was fatally injured when an automobile in which she was riding was struck by a train at the Glendale crossing. Mrs. Lytle and her son, Jack were returning from Los Angeles Ange-les at about 5 a. m. Friday, February 12 and were unable to see the locomotive at the blind crossing a short distance below Glendale. Her skull was fractured and she received other serious injuries. She was rushed by automobile to Las Vegas where a vain attempt was made to save her life. Jack Lytle, less seriously injured, in-jured, was taken to Las Vegas by train. He sustained several lacerations about the face, and a fractured pelvis. However, it Is believed he will recover. |
