Show r Tridell Lomo HTlcKee Phone 247-2350 Tridell ward , sustains new 1 bishopric Sunday The Tridell Ward bishopric was reorganized Sunday, June 26. Those being released were David Wallace as bishop; Jerry Goodrich, first counselor; Michael McKee as second counselor and Bob Simmons as ward clerk. The new bishopric is Jerry I Goodrich, bishop; Paul Kitchen, first counselor; Michael McKee, second counselor and Kerry Goodrich as ward clerk. The Tridell community sponsored a Fourth of July celebration Monday . The day was filled with activities starling star-ling with children races, bike races Ihree-legged races, tire races, water balloon contest, pop guzzling contest, log-sawing, pie-eating, goat diapering, i volleyball and cow-milking contests. The middle dell of Tridell competed with the East and West dells in activities. ac-tivities. The middle dell lost. Neil Bartlett won the biggest fish contest. Many service awards were presented and two special plaques were presented. Gene Harvey, was presented the plaque for beautification and DeVon McKee received the plaque or community service. Richard Perry barbecued the beef (or the community dinner. Over 400 were in attendance. Many items were auctioned off to help raise funds for the community. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Williams of Fer-ron, Fer-ron, Utah, spent the Fourth of July visiting in Tridell at the Gene Wallace and Ron Stump homes. They also picked pick-ed up their three daughters that have been visiting at the Wallace home. Edith Goodrich of Bountiful has been a recent visitor in Tridell at the Dennis Goodrich home. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kitchen of American Fork spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kitchen and family. They came out to be present when their son, Paul Kitchen, was sustained sus-tained as first counselor in the Tridell Bishopric. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Averett of Virginia have been recent visitors at the home of Ruth and Rae Goodrich. The Averett's were on their way to Dallas, Texas, where they will be mak-( mak-( ing their home. Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Woollard and ; Mr. and Mrs. Ron Stump have just .. returned from a visit to Las Vegas. ; They went down to move Ivy Woollard, Bernie's mother, to Tridell where she ' will be making her permanent home. A round table and court of honor were held Friday night in Tridell. Visiting last week at the home of Ron and Patricia Stump were Ron's . parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stump of Trijunga, Calif. The Cub Scouts enjoyed a ball game , with their fathers Thursday night. Visiting at the home of Leslie and Kerry Goodrich last week were ', Leslie's mother, Renae Hunter and ; sister, Nancy, of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Benny Scholes attend-, attend-, 1 the Scholes family reunion at Fish Lake this week. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Simmons and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Simmons spent o days last week fishing at Paradise Park.
