Show Utah crop and weather summary Flood damage continues to mount for Utah farmers. Several irrigation systems are partially, or completely, out of service and crops are dry ing fast, according to the Utah Crop and Livestock Reporting Service. In addition addi-tion to yield losses from flooding and delayed irrigation, the added costs of repair and cleanup will seriously reduce net farm income this year. Field work made good progress, as the week was mostly warm and dry. First crop hay was 79 percent harvested, with yield and quality running run-ning below normal in most counties. Winter wheat was 84 percent headed and rated in good condition Barley and spring wheat rex. to-good, with just under behead be-head stage. Corn rated only r. continued well behind na development.
