Show NOTICE OF CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the Duchesne County Commission Com-mission at Duchesne County Courthouse, Duchesne, Utah until 10:00 a.m. July 19, 1983, and at that time publicly opened for construction of NEOLA LOOP ROAD in Duchesne County, that same being that section of Collector Road Route No. 397(10) from its beginning at St. 23400 to its terminus at Sta. 355identified as Collector Col-lector Road Project No. CR-397 U0). The length of road to be construction or improved im-proved is 2.29 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately as follows: This project consists of placing the untreated base course and bituminous surface course on the project. The bid will be received in four alternate forms. The alternates will be for road mix surface course, Hot Mix surface course, road mix surface course with Duchesne County furnishing the aggregates ag-gregates and hot mix surface course with Duchesne County furnishing fur-nishing the aggregates. The project is to be completed in 45 calander days. The attention of bidders bid-ders is directed to Special Provisions cover-ning cover-ning subletting or assigning assign-ing the contract. The attention of bidders bid-ders is directed to the fact that contractors engaged in highway construction con-struction work are required re-quired to meet the provisions provi-sions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 ( 52 Stat. 1060). DUCHESNE COUNTY, COUN-TY, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252), hereby notifies all bidders bid-ders that it will affirmatively affir-matively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement adver-tisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. Proposal forms, plans and specifications are on file in the office of the Duchesne County Clerk, Duchesne, Utah and the office of the Project Engineer at Uintah Engineering, Inc., 85 South 200 East Vernal, Utah where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, proposal forms, and plans may be obtained only at Uintah Engineering, Engineer-ing, Inc. in Vernal, Utah, upon application and payment of $50.00, no part of which will be refunded. Each bidder must submit sub-mit a bid bond from an approved surety company com-pany on forms provided by the local agency; or in leiu thereof, cash, certified cer-tified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5 of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Duchesne County, as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds required. re-quired.
