Show V Big game applications deadline, July 3 Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is now accepting application for the fall special big game hunts. Most species of big game animals in Utah made it through last winter in pretty good shape despite excessive amounts of snow and a long, cold spring. People interested in hunting these animals this fall can now apply for the special hunting permits. Applicants for antelope, buffalo, moose, antlerless deer and control elk permits can apply with one simple application. ap-plication. 1983 big game proclamations and application forms have been sent to all stores in Utah that sell hunting and fishing licenses. The proclamation covers all species of big game found in Utah and lists all the rules and regulations governing the fall hunts. One of the major changes this year in the application procedure is that all applications must be mailed to a post office box in Salt Lake City and cannot can-not be turned in at Division offices as in years past. The new mail-in procedure pro-cedure should simplify the application process for the public and will save the Division time and expense once the applications ap-plications are received.
