The 1977 team was led by Uresk in the fourth quarter with eight points. Uresk put in one field goal and hit 6 out of 6 free throw attempts. Uresk hit all six free throws in the final 2V2 minutes. Denver was the top scorer in the game with 28 points for the 1977 team. Denver fired in ten field goals and hit 8 out of 10 free throws. Also scoring in double figures were: Eldredge, 17; Peterson, 14; and Uresk, 14. Murphy tossed in two points. Uresk hit 8 out of 12 free throws and hit 7 out of 8 charity tosses in the second half. The 1977 team put in 27 field goals and hit 21 out of 28 free throws. Heaton poured in 21 points for the 1978-80 team on .nine field goals and three free throws. Also scoring points were: Dye, 11; Mt. Lion, 8; Harrison, 5; Chasel, 4; Buxton, 4; Kevin , Rasmussen, 4 and Tracy Nielson, 4. The 1969-70 team toppled the 1974 team by eight points for the consolation crown and fourth place. Crozier was the top scorer for the 1961-68 team with 20 points on eight field goals and four free throws. Also scoring in double figures were: Frandsen; 15; Gardner, 11 and Luck, 11. Dart put in 19 points for the 1975-76 team and Trowbridge scored 17 points. The 1977 team downed the 1969-70 team in the first round and advanced into in-to the championship game. when they defeated the 1975-76 team, December 30.
