Show Former resident dies in Colorado Dorallrvin (Dote) Eaton, 68, beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather grand-father passed away at the Lutheran Hospital, Denver, Colo., Dec. 20, 1980. Born Aug. 26, 1912 in Vernal, he was the son of Mary Fuller Eaton and Irvin Eaton. He graduated from Uintah High School in 1930, attended Utah State University, was active in sports, drama, music and dancing. First wife was Marjorie Hislop. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Second wife was Mary Wheeler of Silverton, Colo. He was a member of the Denver Second Ward, served as home teacher, Elders Quorum president and president of Sunday School, was manager for Provo Motor Parts and district sales manager for K.W. Products of Whittier, Calif., for 37 years. Survivors of wife, Mary; son, Michael of Wheatridge, Colo.; two stepsons, Ed Wheeler, Yucaipa, Calif., Den Wheeler of Arvada, Colo.; two daughters, Marylin Gardner of Vernal and Sonja Wormell of San Jose, Calif.; six grandsons, seven granddaughters; three sisters, Elva Davis of Provo, Marsale Siddoway of Vernal and Gwenna Bricker of Bountiful, Utah. Funeral services were at the Denver Second Ward. Interment was at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheatridge, Colo., Dec. 23, 1980. |
