Show Maeser I Enid Hatch Phone-789-315Q Gerald Golding, Jr. called to serve LDS mission Gerald Golding, Jr., has been called to serve an LDS mission in the Kentucky Ken-tucky Louisville mission. His farewell was held Sun., March 22, at Maeser First Ward. Elder Golding will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo, April 2. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Golding, who are the present owners of the Maeser Trailer Court. Brett Beckstead was home over the weekend from Utah State University in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Dertach and girls will be living at Anna Oldham's while working with the family services for two months. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Porter and family traveled to Delta, Utah to attend the funeral of Mr. Porter's father, Lesslie Porter. Gwen Porter and friend, Laura Baird from Provo spent the weekend with her parents. Mrs. William (Marilyn) Beesley and children William and Susannah accompanied accom-panied Grant and Mildred Hacking home Wed. Mr. Hacking had surgery at the Cottonwood Hospital is at home recuperating. Bob and Monta Rae Showalter returned last week from a trip to Tempe, Ariz., where they visited with Roy and Evelyn Showalter. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Richens, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Richens spent four days in Las Vegas, Nev., where they saw Greg Richens, son of the Merlin Richens. While there they went to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Brent and Jana Joe Ross with daughter, Elizabeth, visited with parents, the Joe Calders over the weekend. David and Kathy Smith are parents of a new baby girl whose name will be Carolyn. Mrs. Smith is in Provo with David's parents, the Evan Smiths. Mrs. Harold (Neva) Ashby has sold her home to the le C. England family. Mr. England is working as a deputy sheriff for Uintah County. Mrs. Ashby will be placing a trailer home on her property north of Anna Oldham. Mrs. Don (Betty) liowden went to Price, last week where she visited an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Dowd Jessen, in Wellington. She also visited Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Timothy. Paula Snow and Debora Harrison were in Provo and Salt Lake City over the weekend. Mrs. Helen Mar Marlensen relumed home from her visit with her parents in Salt Lake City and with the Del Marten-sons. |
