Show By Oiedra Ellifril. i Approximately 100 Senior Citizens attended our White House Conference on Aging, held at the Golden Age Center, March 18. The main topics were economic security, physical and mental health, social well being, older Americans as a growing national resource, age-integrated society within societal institutions and research. These issues were brought up along with many more and recommendations made to take back to the White House in December. Nine board members from the State Divison of Aging were present, one of whom was Lloyd Drury, from the University of Utah, Max Hartman, area agency director, Fred Jones, assistant area agency director from Duchesne County. Bonnie Arnell, state nutrition specialist, also took charge at this conference. DeAnn Burgeon played the organ while the roast beef dinner was being served. We would like to thank DeAnn and everyone who participated and attended at-tended this conference. A lot of newcomers were at the Friday night dance: Rose and Toby Pachecoof Farmington, N.M.; Mr. and Mrs. Bud Price; Arlene Taylor; Mr. and Mrs. Del Goodwin; Sharon Kellogg and Jane Williams. Mrs. Pacheco is the mother of Mrs. Goodwin. Apologies to anyone we may have missed on our newcomers list. Happy birthday was sung to Verlin Labrum and Wanda Powell. Our apology goes to Nola Nelson for an error in last week's paper as her name was listed at Lola. Sorry about that, Nola. We are glad to see you back dancing and having a good time. Remember to bring cookies for the appreciation dance for Thora Mulford and Ivan Jacobsen this Friday. Don Smith, joined the Harmony Four with his saxaphone and Bonnie Behunin joined the group as she sang several numbers with the band, both were greatly enjoyed. Many of the dancers attended the dance in Roosevelt on Saturday night. See you Friday night. On the menu for Thursday, March 26 is Salisbury steak, potatoes and gravy, harvard beets, jello salad, coleslaw, cornhroad and strawberries with anfielfood cakt? 130 attended the Monday dinner on March 23 and enjoyed the meat loaf dinner and the wonderful entertainment en-tertainment of Lois and Barbara Rasmussen who sang a duct. After the duct, Lois recited a humorous reading. We would like to thank these two ladies and let them know how much they are appreciated. Monday, March 30 we will be having spaghetti with sauce, broccoli casserole, tossed green salad, fruit salad, garlic bread, donuts with ice cream. Sec you there At the bingo table March 17, Alice Mott as the number one winner. Elvira Slaugh and Lena Mast were number two each having four games.
