A program was presented during the reception which included a duet by Mari Gene Campbell and Christa Jensen, a solo by Christa Jensen, accompanied ac-companied by Terrie Lamb, a trio consisting of Kathy Hatch, Kathy Jack-man Jack-man and Kelly Phillips, accompanied by Kathy Hatch on the guitar. A solo was sung by Leeanne Redden. Following the . reception, a wedding ..dance.was.held for the newlyweds with music furnished by the "Black Mountain" orchestra. The couple enjoyed a short honeymoon to Zions Park and to Las Vegas before making their home in Dutch John where Mr. Ruble is employed em-ployed by the Daggett Sheriff Department. Depart-ment. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Neel Christensen of Midvale; Mrs. Suzette Fawks and Tiffany Christensen of Murray; Rick Martin of Dubois, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. William Kouris and Mrs. and Mrs. Daniel Ruble of Rock Sprpings; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel of Rangely, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Palleson, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Devine Richins, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Fat Hatch, Mrs. Neva Cruz and Michelle, all of Vernal; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kerivan and sons of Layton; Mr. and Mrs. Jaspar Graf of Bountiful. Preceeding the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was given by the bride's mother and Mrs. Keith Shipton, the bride's aunt. Mt. View's men's basketball players 1 were grand champions of the Daggett County Basketball Tournament held on ; March 19, 20 and 21. They received a au trophy for this and also a trophy for bj. 'having the'be'st'playing'record during the league games. The second place trophy went to Youngtown; third place-. Manila town; consolation trophy went r to McKinnon, Wyo., who came in fourth place. Other teams receiving no trophies were Faculty, fifth; Dutch John, sixth; and Seniors, seventh. An all tournament team was chosen as follows: Brett Harvey, Mt. View; Gary Lambson, Mt. View; Boyd Pallesen, Youngtown; Doug Beck, Youngtown; Robert Ellsworth, Manila; Ray Ruble, Manila; March Anders, Mckinnon; Bruce Christensen, Faculty; Rowde Muir, Dutch John and Curt Reed, Seniors. President of the Daggett County Recreation League this coming year will be Bruce Christensen with Norman Long as vice-president. |
