The trio were among several Miss KVEL, Cindy Morris, adds pageantry to area businesses Cindy Morris, Miss KVEL and a former Mrs. Utah-America contestant, can be seen from time to' time throughout the Vernal area hosting KVEL radio station remotes. Recently, Cindy hosted the KVEL remote at the opening of Smith's Food and Drug store in Vernal. With a background in modeling training and an interest in art drawing, Cindy was supported recently by several area businesses for her participation par-ticipation in the Mrs. Utah-America Pageant held in Nevada. Born July 24, 1960 in Denver, Colo., Cindy Lee Rennison Morris was raised in over six states in the U.S. Her parents, George and Dot Rennison of Dinosaur, Colo., are ranchers by vocation. Drawing became a serious subject persons hosting the Grand Opening of w new Smith's Food and Drug Store. for Cindy beginning in the fourth grade of elementary school. However, since her graduation from Rangely High School in 1978, she has placed her efforts ef-forts in modeling, being a beauty contestant, completing a secretarial course at CTT College and becoming a wife to Bob Morris. Remembering meeting her husband for the first time, Cindy recalls, "I was working for Colorado Well Service in Rangely. My boss had me watering dead trees. Bob is a truck driver. He had been washing his truck. He offered me a Coke and that is how we met." She laughed and stated. "I have heard of people meeting in a lot of different ways, but never over a Coke."
