Show Robert Johnson retires from Moon Lake Electric After nearly 23 years' service with Moon Lake Electric Association, Robert W. Johnson will retire April 1. Johnston joined the utility in 1958 and retires as purchasing agent for the Association. On March 17 most of his co-workers and his wife, Madge, attended a luncheon lun-cheon in honor of Johnston, where they presented him with a fishing pole and reel. He was also honored by the Board of Directors of the Association at their meeting on March 25. His immediate plans include using the new fishing pole, handyman around the house, and some traveling. To replace Mr. Johnston, the promotion of Gene Harvey to purchasing pur-chasing agent has been announced by officials of Moon Lake Electric Association. Harvey ioined Moon Lake Electric in April 1974. He has held the positions of meter reader, junior accountant, and accountant. He resides in Lapoint with his wife Eileen and six children. Probably the most beautiful insect known to man is the butterfly. It is hard to believe that out of a hairy unsightly worm comes such an admiration admira-tion of nature. The butterfly begins in egg form then advances to a caterpillar stage. The caterpillar will spin itself into a cocoon with the bracing foundation of a twig or branch. From this silken home it will emerge as a butterfly. It is believed that the butterfly but-terfly lives for only three days after it has emerged from its cocoon. It has also been hypothosized that the butterfly does not eat, but lives only to reproduce and thus after laying its eggs, dies. |
