Show Tridcll I Lorna (TlcKee Goodrich family visits California Mr. and Mrs. Ward Goodrich and family left Wednesday for southern California. They plan on visiting Disneyland, the beach and various places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley went to Merkley Park Saturday to attend the Merkley family reunion. Here to visit the Merkleys during the weekend and to attend the reunion were Deon and Jerri Richards, Mantua and the Neldon Thoesen family, Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Bowden and ten children of El Paso, Texas are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Taylor. The Bowdens are recent parents of twin daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Simmons spent the weekend in Morgan where they attended a wedding reception of a niece, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Harvey. The Elders Quorum sponsored a party and an overnight campout at Whiterocks Canyon Friday night. A number of people from Tridell participated par-ticipated in the event. - Velora Willis and Howard Merrell have spent the past week in Salt Lake City where they have been attending an insurance school. Vida McKee went to Salt Lake City Friday to have a checkup on her eyes. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich visited Mr. and Mrs. Reed McConkie in Bountiful Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Perry are the proud parents of a new son born Aug. 18 at the Ashley Valley Medical Center. The baby weighed 8 lbs. and 2 oz. and will be named Richard Roy Jr. Alex Kapinuee has returned from California where he has been visiting his father. His mother Peggy Kapinuee met him at the Salt Lake airport. A barbecue and softball game was enjoyed by Clints' Chick ball team and their families Thursday night at Rasmussen's Park. This team won the league B championship at the UBIC. Those playing on the team from Tridell were Sue Ann Green, Cindy Harvey, Sherrie Brinkerhoff, Sandy and Janet McKee. |
