DeMarr and Mada S.-Dudley S.-Dudley are honoring their parents at a celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary an-niversary the evening of Sept. 5 at the St. James Catholic Church, 1st North, 1st West, Vernal. Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. John Kokal and Bishop Joseph L. Federal in the Sanctuary. Sanc-tuary. Following the Mass a reception will be held in the church recreational hall from 7:30 to 9: 30. A short program will be given at 8:45. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend. No gifts, please. DeMarr and Mada Shelley Dudley were married Sept. 3, 1931 in Salt Lake City. They have lived in Jensen for fifty years. They built and operated the Dudley Poultry Farm for most of their married life, a business DeMarr started several years before his marriage. They sold the chickens in 1973, but the coops, brooder house, and egg processing room still stand. They have five children: Sheldon DeMarr of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jack Deneen (Arlene) of Pomona, Calif.; Mrs. Stephen Grosso (LaRae) of New York City; Mrs. Hall Stoddard (Ruth) of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Mrs. Jim Zumbo (Lois) of Vernal. They have 16 grandchildren, grand-children, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 7 step-greatgrandchildren. .. -. - |
