Dickeys travel to SLC Mr. and Mrs. John Dickey and Bernice Ainge were in Salt Lake City Thursday keeping doctor appointments. ap-pointments. Graveside services for Deliah Duncan were held at the John Harmes Cemetery Thursday Oct. 15 under the direction of Clifford Duncan. Walter Moosman who has been very ill for sometime, passed away in the Ashley Valley Medical Center Friday evening. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Whiterocks Branch. The Relief Society branch opening fall social was held Tuesday night in the chapel. Virginia Fergerson was honored for her birthday at a dinner given by her bridge club in Salt Lake City Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Brotherson have moved from the branch. They will be living in Talmage where Terry will be helping his father on the farm. Wayne Gardner visited Myton church Sunday where he was a speaker. Uleeta Mullins and son Brian are spending some time here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Simmons and was a visitor in church Sunday. Other visitors in our branch Sunday were Mary Lynne Click and daughter.Joye Lynne and friend Tawny Shurz, also Mark and Lisa Deets and son Danny. Mark was a speaker and Lisa sang two musical numbers. A farewell dinner was held at the home of Mary White in Whiterocks Sunday for Aaron White and Clark Kaawchee, who are both leaving for the armed services. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Morrill and family were visitors in church Sunday. The heavy snow and rain Thursday night and Friday morning caused a lot of damage to trees and power lines. It left some homes without power for six or seven hours. |
