N v i. l; I ' DEENA MILLECAM shows some of the water-color water-color paintings she will display with her Mother-daughter talents to be at library display The paintings of Deena Millecam and the poetry of her mother, Shirley Riley, will be displayed at the Uintah County Library Oct. 30 thru Nov. 30 the display will be a surprise birthday present for The display will correlate the poetry of my mother and my watercolor paintings, Mrs. Millecam said. The poetry will be framed and done in calligraphy. Mrs. Riley has written poetry all of her life. Her daughter, Deena, has painted for four years and ' was inspired to take up painting because of her father who paints. "I prefer watercolors because they aren't as messy," Mrs. Millecam said. With seven children, Mrs. Millecam finds little time to paint and often does her painting late at night. "The display will be a surprise for my mother," Mrs. Millecam said. ' "Mostly we are doing it for her." November 17 will be Mrs. Riley's birthday and the Millecams will show her the display when she comes lo Vernal from her home in Payson, Utah to celebrate the occasion. A reception will be in the multipurpose multi-purpose room of the library Oct. 30 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Also on display will be some painted milk cans, duck, and other craft items. mother's poetry at the Uintah County Library. |
