Show r Police make arrest for concealed gun A Vernal man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, a third degree felony, following a struggle with police officers last week. Arrested was Gordon McCoy in the Safeway store last Friday night. Chief Robert T. Downard. Vernal City Police, said that they were alerted, following several armed robberies last week, by a person at Safeway that a man in the store was carrying a concealed con-cealed weapon. McCoy denied possessing a concealed weapon to police when they arrived at the store, Doward said. Officers began to "pad him down" and that is where the struggle began.
