Billie ; Smuin is in first place in all events scratch at 1537 and Teresa Haslem is in first place in all events handicap at 1936. Brenda Lemon at 661 is in second place in singles handicap. Sarah Foster is the leader in the high game scratch at 246 and is also in first place in high game handicap at 274. Arlene Gardner is in first place in the high series scratch at 579 and Gleneita Lane is in first place in high series handicap han-dicap at 678. Dinah Bowl No. 1 is in first place in high team scratch at 2372. A number of Vernal bowlers turned in outstanding games during the past week. Helen Atwood, who was bowling for the ladies Tuesday afternoon 600 Club league, rolled a score of 279 and Zan Bowden, who was bowling in Yours and Mine league, ; Thursday posted scores of 224, 251 and 226 for a high -series of 701. |
