Show Vhitcrocks Ze"aH p-ke Pt-.o 353-40OO Hill II II Loren Pike has eye surgery Mr. and Mrs. Loren Pike went to Salt Lake City Tuesday where Loren entered the Holy Cross Hospital for eye surgery; Mrs. Pike stayed with her daughter Darla while Loren was in the hospital. Also going out to be there while their father was operated on was Mr. and Mrs. Ferron Secakuku. Those from the branch who went to the temple in Salt Lake City Saturday, Nov. 14 to witness the marriage of Karla Quick and Rocky Murdock were Paul and DeeAnn Quick, also Kevan and Kay Rasmussen. Kay and Kevan visited their sister and daughter Sherry Rasmussen while there. The branch was saddened sad-dened to hear of the sudden death of Bishop and Mrs. Blayne Morrill's little grandson. Mrs. Rose Fergenson came to'spend the winter months with her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Alfred Helquist. Mrs. Fergenson is from Springville. Kevan Rasmussen was sustained as a Sunday School teacher in church Sunday. Speakers in church Sunday were High Counselman Dee Elder and Elder Peterson of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Weaner and family of Colorado are visiting at the home of Stan and LaRae Hoopes. Relief Society work meeting was held Tuesday night Nov. 10. A quilt was tied and ideas for Christmas were given. Betty Cloward and Kay Rasmussen. cooks for Todd and West schools attended a cook's meeting Tuesday, Nov. 10. Mr. and Mrs. Owen attended an open house for Lisa and Allen Hazelbush Saturday night in Vernal. Jamie Cloward helped with the gifts. Mary Arrowchis spent the weekend at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Arrowchis. |
