Show I Loro McNeill nabc ffarsi (plcoce crown Lori McNeill of Vernal pocketed first place in the barrel racing event in the Professional Cowboys Rodeo Association's Associa-tion's Wilderness Circuit Rodeo Finals in Elko, Nevada, Nov. 6-7-8. McNeill nabbed first place in the first go at 15.53 and placed third in the second go at 15.66. She garnered first place in the third go with a time of 15.19 which was the fastest time run during the three days. McNeill nabbed first place in the average with a time of 46.38 and she won $1146. The top 15 cowboys and cowgirls from Utah, Idaho and Nevada competed in the rodeo. A number of Utah cowboys performed perform-ed well in the rodeo. Lewis K. Feild of Peoa, Utah, nabbed second place in the saddle bronc at 207. He had scores of 65, 68 and 74. Joe Marvel of Battle Mountain, Moun-tain, Nevada, placed first at 213. He had scores of 66-69-78. Jack Hannum of Ogden, Utah, captured cap-tured first place in the calf roping with a time of 35.5. Hannum posted times of 10.4, 14.0 and ll.l. Hannum also tied tot first place in the steer wrestling with Jerry Jones, Las Vegas, at 15.1. Han-num Han-num had times of 6.1, 4.4 and 4.6. Jones posted time of 4.5, 5.2 "and 5.4. Mickey Young, who is originally from Wellington, Utah, but lives now in Jerome, Idaho, placed second in the bareback bronc riding event at 217. He posted scores of 65, 78 and 71. Danay Brady, Henderson, Nevada, nabbed first place at 223 and had scores of 71, 73 and 79. Downey K. Quails, Twin Falls, Idaho, captured first place in the bull riding at 218 and had scores of 76, 71 and 71 Robert Christie placed second at 199 and had scores of 66, 66 and 69. John Davis, Homedale, Idaho, placed third at 197. Da vis had scores of 53, 74 and 70. Paul Van Wassenhove, Middleton, ; Idaho, and Dan Duncan, Lovelock, Nevada, nabbed first place in the team roping event at 28.1 and had times of 9.1, 9.9 and 9.9.
