Show Services held for Bessie Ballard Funeral services were held for Bessie Ballard at Thompson Mortuary Friday, Nov. 13, 1981 with Bishop Cloyd Harrison officiating. Prelude music was played by LaRae Caldwell and a violin solo was done by Lorna Condon, "The End of a Perfect Day." Gary Goodrich, a grandson, was a speaker as well as Darrell Wahlin, a grandson, and Bob Caldwell. A number was composed and played by her son Ellis Goodrich and sung by granddaughter DeAnn. The Verdon Goodrich quartet, consisting con-sisting of Verdon, Mac Holmes, Phillip Manwaring and Norman Haslem, sang two numbers, "Oh, My Father," and "That Wonderful Mother of Mine." LaRae Caldwell played the postlude and benediction was given by Glen Bass. Ashley 3rd Ward was in charge of the flowers and a lunch was served by the Relief Society following the services at the chapel. Pallbearers were grandsons Larry Stone, Arthur Stone, Paul Dockery, Bob Caldwell, Darrel Wahlin and Kenneth Southam. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park. |
