Show Law enforcement agencies K join to prevent alcohol misuse p The Uintah County Sheriff Department, Depart-ment, in conjunction with the Vernal City Police, have become vitally concerned with the increase in alcohol related activities that have been happening in our community in recent months. "We, as law enforcement agencies, in conjunction with local merchants and the United States Brewers Association, are mounting a campaign to make the public aware of the dangers associated with these type activities," said Sheriff Arden Stewart. "We are asking for the support of the entire community to report suspicioned drunk drivers and people under the influence of alcohol. We remind the local citizens that SO percent of all fatal traffic accidents are directly related to drinking drivers.
