Show L Naples Jo Openshaw Phone 789-3157 Seniors celebrate Thanksgiving Naples 1st Ward MIA hosted a Thanksgiving dinner Tuesday evening Nov. 10 in the Naples Cultural Hall for all ward members age 60 and over. A program followed the dinner. Wednesday Wed-nesday evening Naples 2nd Ward MIA honored their 60 and older members at a Thanksgiving dinner and program. Vadrus Wall went to Provo and Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday. In Provo she visited her daughter Barbara Bar-bara Madsen and son. Marial Nash and Annette Reynolds went to Salt Lake City Nov. 6 and were overnight guests of Dale and Beth Nash. On Saturday they attended a Utah Genealogical Association Conference Con-ference at BYU. Mary Snyder and Eva Pendleton of Salt Lake City visited Clyde and Ina Olivers last week. They are nieces of the Olivers. Dale and Dorothy Openshaw of Sandy visited their parents Glenn and Ada Openshaw Tuesday. Glendon and LaN'ae Manwaring and family of Seattle, Wash, visited relatives here last week. Reva Ruppe visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Winders of Idaho Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kissell of Las Vegas, Nev. at the home of Jack and Reita Ruppe in Jensen Saturday. Hugh and Carma Richens of Las Vegas. Nev. came here on business and spent the weekend with their mother Nellie Richens. While here they also visited Ray and Vergie Gee. Becky Richards entertained at a birthday party for her son Keith Saturday. The group of youngsters enjoyed games and refreshments. Naples 1st Ward Primary officers and their husbands had a Thanksgiving dinner Friday evening in the Naples Cultural Hall after which they played games and square danced. Holt and Teena Harrison have a baby boy bom Nov. 15 in the Ashley Valley Medical Center. |
