Show Candidates file for water boards in Uintah Basin Voters in the Maeser, Ashley Valley Water and Sewer and Jensen Water districts will choose two candidates Dec. 2 to serve on their boards of trustees. With the filing date Nov. 16, past, Lee Rosenhan and Lyle McKeachnie have refiled and Dennis Mott and Larry Profit have filed for the two trustee positions up for election on the Ashley Valley Water and Sewer Improvement Board. In the Maeser Water Improvement District, Douglas Lawson and Lorin Merkley have refiled, and Corey Grua and Roger Hacking have filed. Eight candidates have filed for the Jensen Water Improvement Board. They are Lynn Morrill, Leo Snow, Meril Snow, Devier Dudley, John Rasmussen, William Thomson and Richard Tolley. Any resident of the corresponding district is eligible to vote in the upcoming up-coming election if they are registered on the county's register. According to Ray Nash, Ashley Valley Water and Sewer Improvement clerk, persons living in the city, but who have not deannexed out of the district can also vote in the district in upcoming election. |
