Show Easter Bunny visits egg hunt at Country Meadows "Here comes Peter Cottontail" was sung robustly Wednesday, April 2 at Country Meadow Early Education Center where the Easter Bunny made his appearence while the children collected Easter eggs. Wednesday climaxed ten days of Easter preparation with the annual Country Meadows Easter egg hunt. In preparation for Easter, the children created favorite figures in cookie dough. Lambs, chicks, bunnies and Easter eggs were cut, baked and eagerly eaten by the children. Eggbert the Easter egg became a reality as the children made special Eggbert collages that really hatched. Giant paper eggs were also decorated with seeds straws, macaroni, rice and glitter. Calico bunnies were created with the help of paper, glue and wallpaper samples. Friday, March 28, "Jack Rabbit", a member of the Randall King family, visited the school for the yearly Bunny Lunch, While Jack nibbled carrots, celery, and cabbage in his guest hutch outside, the children donned their own special Easter Bunny Bonnets and munched carrot sticks, celery sticks and cabbage wedges. Child-sized Easter baskets and colored eggs were prepared for the Easter egg hunt. Parents, brothers and sisters were invited to enjoy songs, stories and finger plays; and to help hunt for the eggs. As the children were hunting eggs, Mr. E. Bunny made his appeareance to the delight of the children.
