Show Dinah Dancers to host hospital benefit dance The Dinah Square Dance Club will be hosting a reunion-hospital benefit dance on Saturday, April 19, 8 p.m. at the Vernal Junior High Cafeteria. Anyone who has ever square danced is invited to come to the dance and enjoy an evening of easy dancing and fun. Callers for the evening will be Fred Brown and Ron Pederson. All proceeds from the dance will be matched by the club and donated to the Hospital Fund to help in furnishing the new Uintah County Hospital. Refreshments will be furnished by the club. ' " Other dances' coming up in (he future include the Big U Jamboree, to be held May 16 and 17 in the Vernal Junior High gym. Club dances continue on Wednesday Wed-nesday nights at 8 p.m. These weekly dances provide a good opportunity to brush up for the Big U Jamboree. The featured caller for the Big U Jamboree will be Vaughn Parrish from Colorado. On June 28 the square dance clubs of Utah will be hosting numerous Mini National Square Dances supporting the attempt to make square dancing our national folk dance. Petitions will be available to sign, which will be sent to congress. The dance for District 3, which the Dinah Dancers are in, wbe in Price. |
