Show r s. ETHEL TAYLOR Ethel Taylor receives Lapoint funeral service Funeral services for Ethel Jarrell Taylor, who died April 4, 1980 in Salt Lake City, were in the Lapoint chapel Tuesday, April 8. Mrs. Taylor was born January 21, 1910 in Orange, Boone Co., West Virginia to Martin Edward (Bud) Jarrell and Mary Foster. She married Art Taylor September 16, 1931 in Duchesne, Utah. Bishop Keith Hartle was in charge of the services and Lyle Taylor gave the family prayer. The invocation was given by Glen Huber followed by remarks by Bishop Hartle. Lois Hartle, Mary Lou Huber, Paula Huber, Delia Nybert, Mae Warburton and June Woolley sang a musical number accompanied by Donna Hartle. Robert Steel spoke followed by a musical number by Dorothy Peltier and Daun White, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Medley," Merrill Rasmussen gave the benediction. Gene Nyberg dedicated the grave in the Lapoint Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marion Caldwell, Cliff Hackford, Dallas Nickell, Lee Taylor, Morris Vernon and Max Woolley. She was a member of the Lapoint Ward, former president of the MIA and a teacher in the MIA, Primary and Relief Society. She is survived by her husband from Lapoint; a son, J. Kent Taylor, Richfield, Rich-field, Ut.; a daughter, Kathryn Taylor, - Tooele, Ut.; grandchildren, Jacquie Taylor. Ogden. Ut.; Alison Taylor, Logan. Ut.; Jeff Taylor. Richfield, Ut,; and a sister. Mrs. W.J. ( Ester) Jackson of Dublin, Virginia. |
