Show Ballard Telintha Rosmussen Phone 722-4875 V ' Thayne Grover honored Sunday A farewell testimony was held last Sunday in North Ballard Ward for Thayne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Grover. Thayne is going to the Bolivia, South American Mission. He will attend the language training school at Provo, BYU before leaving. Ethel, Neita and Ida ' Ercanbrack were in Salt Lake last Saturday on business and did some shopping. Stan Womack, Dave Bloxham and Rolland Powel took 10 girls and 7 boys to Provo LDS Temple last Saturday to do baptismal work. Paula Poland met them at the Temple and chaperoned the girls. Neita Ercanbrack and friend have : moved from Ballard Ward and are : living in an apartment in Roosevelt. Both girls teach at East Elementary school n Roosevelt. Beatrice Lundberg returned home : last Friday after spending several weeks in Deseret at her daughter's home, Mr. and Mrs. Cumin J. (Linda) : Cropper. While there the Croppers had : a new son, born at the Delta hospital ; October 18. He weighed 9 lbs and was named, Brandon Jeffrie. En route home, Beatrice stopped in ; Salt Lake and visited her grand- j: daughter, Bernice, at the Shriner hospital, who had surgery on her knee. :: Mr. and Mrs. Allen Betts have a new ; daughter, born Oct. 18 at the Duchesne : County Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. 2 :" oz. and was named Charlotte Marie. : Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Verdon : Heaton and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Betts. : Great-grandparents are, Mr. and Mrs. Reed McConkie of Bountiful and : Virginia Anderson of.
