Superintendent Wayne Reid, Ted Taylor, director of the project, and Shane Luck, city manager inspect the site. Septic tank installed at new elementary school Because of the inconvenience of digging a 14-foot sewer trench on fifth south, the city will temporarily install a septic tank at the new elementary school pn Robinwood Lane. Reid said the school will be finished by Jan. 1 and the water lines, sprinkler system and restroom fixtures need to be tested before that time. In order to give the school quicker sewer services, the school district agreed to use the septic tank until they could hook onto the sewer. City Manager, Shane Luck, said the tank will be located on the edge of the school property and where the future sewer will be connected April 1. The cuy will iinance the installation of the temporary septic tank. Reid said the school will be open next fall and at that time over 500 student will - attend. The school maximum capacity will be 700 students. |
