Grandparents are Bulia Pummell, from Davis Ward, Emily and Ferrell Abplanalp. Ethel Oaks is home from the Duchesne Hospital in Roosevelt. Niel and Shirley Barney are parents of a new baby girl born in Duchesne County Hospital in Roosevelt. Her name is Leslie Lee. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. S.L. William Bright of Salt Lake City, and Edna Barney of Ashley. Mother Thersa Bright spent a Robb from Salt Lake City, Darlene Foster from Murray, have visited the Barney home. Don and Lana Hall have a new girl born at Uintah County Hospital October 24. Grandparents are Boyd and Mary Price, Wayne and Jackie Hall. Great-grandparents Great-grandparents Irene Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Hall. Angela welcomed her new sister, Mistie, home. Geraldine Carroll is at home again. Robert and Trudy Roelofsz and daughter DaYna, along with Bob and Pat Brown of Jensen went to Gunnison, Colorado, where DaYna was christened at the Community Church. Don Bowden traveled to Colorado near Slater Creek where he hunted elk with Stan Jolley. Lynn Slaugh from Houston, Texas has been here visiting Doris Mott, Mervin Slaugh, Ivan Slaugh and Bernice Burke, he also enjoyed the deer hunt with the family. Visitor at the Dean Merkley home over the weekend were Kent and Sheila King and daughter, Nichole, from Kaysville; Terry and Debbie Slade, sons Joseph and Jason from Provo., Mrs. Sidney (Carrie) Merkley spent a week in Salt Lake City visiting Emiline Varley, Clara Nelson, and Jody and Sarah Engelberson from Oakland, California. They spent several days this last week here visiting relatives and friends. The Brent Merkleys from Las Vegas, Nevada have been visiting the Everet Merkleys, and Kevin Merkley who gave his report to Maeser Third Ward of LDS Mission to Paraguay Asuncion, South America. Steven Higley family have moved to Salt Lake City. The Walt Burfitt family are living in the old Fox home for the winter that the Higley's were living in. The Pudge Merkleys, Lesa Reynolds and Tess Siddoway were in Salt Lake Monday and Tuesday on business and doctor's appointments. Ryan Peltier, who is attending Utah State University, was home over the weekend and for the deer hunt. Jess and Linda Pierson and family have moved from Rock Springs. Jerie Price and Janet Price from Granger visited over the weekend with the Boyd Prices. Kaye 'Richens has returned home from McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, and is back to work in Maeser Elementary lunch room. |
