Show Uintah District cubbing news - Nov. 1st, at 7 p.m. at the Naples Ward Chapel, will be a training session for all cub scout leaders and session No. 7 for committee chairman, cub masters, Primary Presidents, and Bishopric advisors. Nov. 3rd, Saturday, from 9 a.m. -2 p.m., will be a Cub scout POW WOW at the Ashley Stake Center. Every cub scout leader in the Uintah Basin is invited to attend. Classes will be taught in five areas; uniforming, puppets, crafts, ceremonies, and sparklers and songs. These are "doing classes" and everyone in attendance will learn how to make puppets, do crafts for themes during the year, learn to lead and teach snprklen; learn hnw tn nut nn im pressive ceremonies to honor the cubs, and how to conduct sharp and speedy uniform inspections. Those paying for a POW WOW book will receive the book at the end of the POW WOW. Others attending the classes will only pay a small fecfor the lunch. The District Staff hopes all Cub leaders will plan to attend both the training sessions, 4 and 7 on Nov. 1st , and the POW WOW on Nov. 3rd.
