Show Utah Assn. of Counties Officials in Moab Officials of the Utah Association of Counties were in Moab Tuesday, Oct. 30, for a school for countv officials. The UAC holds such a school in each county of the state during the year. Theme of this year's session was The New Era, a plan for meeting today's challenges chal-lenges and preparing for tomorrow's oportunities in county government in Utah. After a breakfast, county officials and UAC officials studied and discussed dis-cussed counties and their relationships with other counties, cities and towns, regions, the state, the legislature, congress, con-gress, federal government, govern-ment, the campus and the public. William Dunn, president presi-dent of the Utah Association Asso-ciation of Counties and chairman of the Salt Lake County Commission, took charge of the meetings. meet-ings. Also present were Jack E. Christensen, executive ex-ecutive director of UAC, Jack Tanner, field director, dir-ector, and Mrs. Bobbie Barnson, Lady Vice President Pre-sident of the organization and clerk-auditor of Piute County. |
