Show 1977 Canyonlands Nature YJorkshop Schedule Set " In Moab, Dr. Tuck Forsythe announced the 1977 schedule for Canyonlands Nature Workshops. Forsythe is Director Di-rector of the Canyonlands Environmental Education Center, headquartered in Moab. These outdoor workshops are small group sessions in which participants explore the scientific stories behind the wonders of the canyons. The various groups have accommodated ac-commodated people ranging from 10 years old to retired folks. The 1977 season will open April 20 and run 16 sessions which will end October 1. Utah State University credit will again be available, for teacher recertification or regular reg-ular student programs. Activities include investigating investi-gating the ruins left by the vanished Pueblo peoples of the Colorado River canyons. Other activities will be star gazing, discovering how the canyons were carved, and looking for birds and flowers. These workshops enable people to get together with other nature enthusiasts to share interests and knowledge. knowl-edge.
