Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Bid opening on Project CR 421 (1) will be delayed until February 17, 1976. There are addems on this project available avail-able at the Grand County Clerk's Office, Moab, Utah. See official notice In this paper. Sealed proposals will be received by the Grand County Clerks Office at Moab, Utah until 10 o'clock a.m. February 17, 1976, and at that time publicly opened for construction construc-tion of Pack Creek Box and Approaches in -0- City, Grand County, the same beina that section Collector Road Route No. 421 from Station 284 75 to Station 293 00 identified as Collector Road Project No. CR-421 (1). The length of road to be constructed or improved is 0.1556 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approxi-mately as follows: Approx. 215 cu. yd. portland cement class AA (AE), 31,859 lb. reinforcing reinforc-ing steel, 9.270 cu. yd. roadway excavatich, 450 ton untreated base course, 350 ton road mix mineral aggregate. The project is to be completed in 50 working days. Prequalification of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with the State Road Commission of Utah completed complet-ed and approved, the required .Prequalification Statement pertaining to contractor's experience ex-perience & financial condition. The attention of bidders is directed to Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning assign-ing the contract. In conformity with, and by authority of Title 34, Chapter 30, Utah Code Annotated 1953, the general prevailing rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Utah shall be effective and apply to this project, and are the minimum wages to.be paid on this project. These rates are made a part of the contract documents. The attention of bidders is directed to the fact that contractors engaged In highway high-way construction work are required to meet the provisions provi-sions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (52 Stat. 1060). Grand County, in accordance accord-ance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered Into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible respons-ible bidder without discrimination discrimina-tion on the grounds of race, color or national origin.
