Show Broncos Dominatelournamenti Devils Dumped Spartans San Juan High School, as expected, dominated the individual indi-vidual championships Sat., as Moab hosted a three school wrestling meet. The host Devils came away with two championships won by junior grapplers. David Stewart at 112 pounds and Jerry Stocks, 126 pounds, wrestled their way to titles. Second place finishes by Moab included Klint Hutton, Terrill Sebastian, Randy Stewart, Stew-art, Iley Copeland and David Wyatt, making it a good tuneup for the Region Seven meet Friday and Saturday at Delta. It was the second match for Moab this past week. The Devils registered a 39 to 24 win over region rival Emery Thursday, on the Spartan mat. Against Emery Jerry Stocks, Klint Hutton, Randy stewart and Iley Copeland won to go with a number of forfeits scored by Moab. j '. l r -i o ' ill Moab wrestlers had a big week, as they took aim at the State Class 2A finals which will bring hundreds of people to Moab next week. |
